PART 11

A SUMMARY OF THE CORE ARGUMENTS

PART 1

  1. The Christian Universalist case is built entirely on vocabulary dissections without connect to the organic train of thought of a single scripture author. Because all author thought flow leaves universal enmity with the netherworld unclosed, Universalists must argue for universal reconciliation over a “skin-deep” montage of inorganically connected verses and over superficially isolated and re-crafted word usages (e.g., “all,” “ages,” “destruction = refining”), even to assailing the reliability of every common translation of scripture left by the Holy Spirit. Any doctrine of cosmological magnitude that cannot explain itself in terms of plain direct testimonial thought flow of the witnesses can only be a manufactured falsity.

    PART 2

  2. All record of God’s “allness” to be realized in His purpose toward creational reconciliation is confined to uniting only the domains of heaven and earth. Not one apostolic or prophetic statement of reconciliation embraces netherworld existence and destiny, which is conspicuously excluded. By contrast, every statement referencing netherworld existence and destiny is left in a state of unclosed enmity outside the otherwise reconciled “wedded” domains of heaven and earth. Thus the scripture authors deny any concept of universal reconciliation that seeks to embrace the netherworld.

  3.   All salvation is brought to pass only through the governmental ministry of prayer, and all prayer for salvation at the base of God’s kingdom purpose (as manifested in the Lord’s Prayer) is exercised only toward the earth, only by the church on earth and by the Lord in heaven. No prayer ministry exists anywhere throughout the universe for or by the inhabitants of the netherworld, past, present or future—summarily denying any and all possibility of divine intent to “save” the inhabitants of the netherworld.

  4.  Holiness (sovereign separational distinctiveness) is the Self-declared chief attribute of God, violation of which is responsible for the universe-wide enmity continuum. Contrary to all Universalist and humanist Christian belief, love is not the chief attribute of God, but rather takes its expression only with respect to God’s self-defining sovereign separational distinctiveness. (God does not self-identify Himself as love.) Therefore ultimate cosmological truth cannot be determined upon a presumption that love is the chief attribute of God by which all cosmological destiny is driven and must be defined.

  5. The death of Christ alone has the power to effect any reconciliation out of universal enmity. The consequences of universal enmity (death and judgment) have no saving power to cure its cause (sin) so as to effect universal reconciliation. Therefore to teach that suffering in the Lake of Fire contributes purgative power to effect netherworld reconciliation is to directly contradict the gospel of saving reconciliation by the power of Christ’s blood alone. Such is a false gospel of salvation.

  6. All cosmological destiny is determined by judicial decree; judicial decree has instituted a universal enmity continuum unto opposed destinies of salvation and damnation for mutually exclusive seeds; and no judicial decree exists to reverse the originating enmity decrees upon Lucifer and his seed, nor to close the enmity continuum or reverse the judgment upon those sentenced to damnation—denying any judicial basis for and thus prohibiting any possibility of universal reconciliation.

  7. Inasmuch as death is a co-equal enemy with other powers and personages to be similarly “abolished,” universal reconciliation is prohibited under any definition of the abolition of death. For whether death is finally abolished through cessation of force or by destructive force in the Lake of Fire, either fate as it is equally applied to the other enemies precludes their reconciliation. Thus the belief that death’s “abolition” evidences final universal reconciliation is disproved.

  8. Jesus declares His “end-ship” of Being and Purpose upon a state of unclosed enmity with the netherworld through the Book of Revelation, which forbids any alteration to what He declares therein. This means no other apostolic commentary on Christ’s “allness” or reference to “the end” outside Christ’s own declaration can be used to prove Christ’s universal reconciliation with the netherworld.

  9. The universal bar of destiny adjudication (i.e, the Great White Throne judgment) based on repaying earthly deeds for the certifying of salvation is the sole and final cosmologic reference point of every scripture writer. According to that reference point, judgment is sure and salvation is not, denying the Universalistic belief that salvation is the ultimate biblical cosmologic reference point. Testimony to universal conflict ceases with the Great White throne, further denying any divine intent to war to “abolish” the Second Death under Christ’s feet thereafter.

    PART 3

  10. All salvation is biblically defined as a declaration of righteousness preventatively of perishing under wrath to be meted out at the one and final universal bar of adjudication. Any definition of “salvation” that purports to show salvation in operation after that bar is therefore a false definition. Christian Universalism is not a biblical doctrine of salvation, but an extra-biblical doctrine of post-condemnatory “anti-existential transmutation” out from annihilation—outside all apostolic and prophetic thought flow.

  11.  All salvation is established only by sovereign unilateral covenant through a restricted seed line and only with terrestrially living generations. No covenant with the netherworld exists in scripture, and thus no salvation from within the netherworld is possible.

  12. The apostles’ teachings and Jesus’ parables distinguish between the spectral dimensions of 1) universally provisional but forfeitable salvation and 2) covenantally exclusive, exceptional, proven permanently-effectual salvation (none of the former’s properties being regainable once lost, and none of the latter’s properties being reproducible under netherworld conditions). Universalism portrays a monofaceted absolutely-effectual salvation obtainable in the netherworld if not on earth that militates against the conditionally spectral salvation driving the thought flow of every apostolic writer—either ignoring or redefining all qualifiers of effectual salvation in terms of salvation’s universally provisional elements, and defending itself merely by championing salvation’s universally provisional “allness,” which does not prove the issue of permanent effectuality.

  13.  While the number of men that grace provisionally reconciles equals the number of men who have sinned (i.e., “all”), saving grace is exercised only against the power of terrestrial sin under the moral knowledge of good and of the Law (against which grace’s comparative abundance alone is made) and only ahead of “the wrath to come.” Grace is not exercised against the Second Death nor is the measure of its greater abundance in its capacity to effectually save “more” men out of death after they have gone to hell.

  14.   God is determinedly unwilling that any of the elect saints to whom Peter writes his letters should perish in the Day of Judgment, whose repentance hastens that Day, while God is determinedly willing to keep accursed apostates for their worse and last end as creatures born to be killed.

  15.  All salvation is adjudicated in reference only to earthly deeds, and all spiritual elements associated with the enacting of salvation including the blood atonement, repentance, forgiveness, intercession, faith, mercy and hope are ministered and received only terrestrially and are subject to limitations past which they cannot be exercised or received.

  16.  The faith required for salvation (without which God can never be pleased) can execute only in the terrestrial domain where it is exercised as an inner conviction against mortal terrestrial senses. It does not execute in heaven or in hell (the abyss).  The fleshly component of terrestrial sense against which saving faith is exercised does not exist beyond the grave. Thus no salvation by “faith” is possible after death for the damned in hell any more than it is possible or necessary after death for the saved in heaven.

    PART 4

  17. The blood of Christ, the only means to reconciliation with God, atones only for sin in the terrestrial human bloodstream only in advance of the day of vengeance without mercy, is applied only in the domains of earth and heaven and may only be applied once to the human conscience, past violation of which no re-atonement is possible, but only the expectation of non-salvific consuming fiery judgmental fury. No atonement is available for spirits. Thus, no atonement is available for post-terrestrial bloodless souls in the netherworld. The atonement has already been perfected once, only for all time and effectually permanently only for a terrestrially set apart sainthood.

  18. Post condemnatory universal reconciliation is completely absent from and thus denied by the pattern of salvation established by the Passover from which all New Covenant fulfillment and exposition of atonement is derived.

    PART 5

  19. Effectual salvation issues forth only as a spiritual birthing by the Father as the product of rich intricate processes that occur under and are mirrored by terrestrial environmental planting and harvesting conditions that are not reproducible in the netherworld.

  20. All the apostles identify the corporate body of those who are effectually born-again of the Father as a delimited, exclusive, select intra-loving sainthood, kingdom and “sheepfold” contrasted against all others as “goats,” all of which sheep are shown to be effectually saved by the time of the judgment. No concept of spiritual DNA “cross-breeding” between or “conversion” of goats to sheep occurs anywhere pertaining to the terrestrial realm (much less to the netherworld where no DNA exists), nor can it in order to meet the definition of “holy” ascribed to the sheepfold.

  21. The consummation of the ages has already occurred upon the death of Christ. It is not an event yet to occur as if to signify a consummating universal reconciliation with the netherworld after ages to come.

    PART 6

  22. Time to God has no end, the second cosmos (new heavens and earth) and New Jerusalem which have no end are measured in time; and no end is postulated to the birthing of coming generations throughout which God’s kingdom endures—all disproving the Universalist philosophic assumption that time has an end, rendering moot all debate about “durations” of post-death states of (anti-) existence, including the translations of words pertaining to future duration, thus eliminating any meaningful distinction between the concepts of eternity and time beyond death—thereby fatally undercutting the critical Universalist requirement necessary for proving an eventual cessation of the Lake of Fire.

    PART 7

  23. God expresses anti-reconciliatory expectations, attitudes and terminal resolves against various individuals and classes of men that witness against any divine heart and plan to accomplish universal reconciliation. These include His hatred of the violent, the wicked, the immorally profane; and His determined intent to harden the hearts of men, to receive glory thereby, and to prevent some men from coming to salvation.

  24. The prophets testify that the terminal destiny of God’s otherwise unredeemed enemies is destruction wherein they will never exist again in life and will never rise again from hell.

  25. The last state of apostate false teachers is worse than their beginning, they having been both ordained and born to be destroyed, past possibility of returning to the truth. Every party identified in the New Testament as a false apostle, prophet, teacher, brother or antichrist is left in a state of unclosed enmity, under a declaration of terminal condemnation as a child of the devil (seed of the serpent) and/or to be shunned and overcome—all contrary to any hope of salvation and reconciliation within the complete apostolic thought flow.

  26. The existence of the wicked is terminally ended wherein they are consumed and incinerated by flame to perish in perpetuity as smoke, dross, dung, chaff and dust, are destroyed unto annihilation, cut off, gone, uprooted, extinguished, vanishing to be no more, so as to have no future and to be blotted out from all memory—all denying any possible consideration of eventual restoration to existence, much less “reconciliation.”

  27. The making new of all things through the second cosmos does not abrogate any of the numerous Old Covenant prophecies of the terminal annihilation of the wicked, and no New Covenant writer contests even one of those prophecies.

  28. God’s acts of destruction upon earth’s destroyers from hell are as non-redemptive upon them as are theirs upon the earth, denying any redemptive purpose to either God’s destruction or to the fires of hell.

  29. To be blotted out of the book of life is to be never forgiven forward but personally expunged from all memory in unending perpetuity among the living, synonymously with terminal destruction and extinction, which general destruction is memorialized to all generations—denying any possibility of future cognizance of existence, much less future reconciliation.

    PART 8

  30. The fire of God burns as redemptive refinement only upon the covenantally redeemable living while consuming to incineration all that is non-redemptively combustible. Meanwhile hell’s fire and smoke brings forth non-redemptive destruction wherever it is released on the earth. Thus both hell fire and God’s consuming fire to incineration disprove the Universalist assertion that “all fire of God and of the netherworld is purifying.”

  31. The fate of the Sodomites imprisoned in age-enduring darkness (for whom Christ died provisionally) is undifferentiated from the angels with whom they cohabited (producing the Nephilim) who are imprisoned eternally in the same darkness (for whom Christ did not die at all). Such undifferentiation of sentence witnesses that no eventual reconciliation can or will occur for either "parents" of the Nephilim.

  32. Condemnation and discipline are thoroughly distinguished throughout the Old and New Testaments wherein those in Christ are disciplined so as not to be condemned, discipline preempts hell and condemnation, discipline expresses love while condemnation does not and the atonement stays wrath but not discipline—all denying that netherworld condemnation is synonymous with redemptive discipline.

  33. Kolasis punishment associated with the day of Judgment is of fear contrary to love, being also associated with the cursed punishment of the netherworld hordes and vengeful burning of the Salt Cities, all of whom are incinerated (not “refined”)—denying any loving, remedial, redemptive purpose to kolasis. Meanwhile no closure of enmity exists in the end-to-end biblical thought flow over the punishments of Cain, Sodom and the apostates, further denying any reconciliatory purpose to such divine punishment.

  34. The end objective of wrath is death, desolation, termination of existence, opposed to salvation and exercised without pity, specifically not intended to cleanse, purge, reform or restore, some of which burns without termination—all contradicting the Universalist claim to wrath’s redemptivity and eventual conclusive extinguishment.

  35. In the exceptional extreme, wrath proves to be incidentally redemptive as a “last chance” purifying chastisement upon a terrestrially living disobedient remnant under covenantal preservation, sometimes parabolically described as a “resurrection” to life; while the only actual resurrection of the already deceased damned is a resurrection to damnation.

  36. The permanently enduring quality of divine lovingkindness does not alter the enmitous destruction and permanent death state of the wicked but actually invokes it.

    PART 9

  37. All Old Testament restorational prophecy is with respect to terrestrially living remnant survivors of future living generations contrasted against the non-survivorship of unbelievers for whom no restoration is thus indicated; and all scriptures referencing dead disobedient ancestral generations maintain memorialization of them in enmity, divorced from any connection to the restoration promises. All Universalist interpolation of the dead, damned netherworld coming “back to life” in these prophecies is made on baseless assumptive leap completely against the thought flow of every Old Covenant prophet.

  38. All restorational prophecy retains evidence of exceptional salvation and reconciliation within an outer unclosed enmity with the terminally vanquished, surviving sinners, a remaining natural curse and compulsory worship, having no living reference to any who have already perished into the netherworld after final adjudication.

  39.    The ultimate universal reign of the Lord is predicated on His premier identity as the warrior God of Armies, being accomplished by anti-reconciliatory forced military subjugation in which unconverted nations and unbelievers (and all beings) are universally made to know the forcible lordship / worship of God through destructive actions. God never loses his anti-reconciliatory identity as a Warrior throughout the entire Bible cosmology, utterly denying the most fundamental possible basis for belief in universal reconciliation seated in the nature of God.

  40.   Christ’s universal lordship does not equate to universal effectual saviorship, wherein the netherworld’s acknowledgement of Christ’s lordship from “under the earth” neither preempts their further consignment to the Lake of Fire nor releases them from under the earth which would automatically happen if their proclamation of His lordship equated to confession of His saviorship.

  41. The future restorational universality of the knowledge of God’s glory and of earth’s rejoicing over His reign is predicated on His many anti-reconciliatory acts of destruction and terminal judgment against the wicked.

  42.   God’s “making of all things new” defined as the new heavens and earth precludes death and all curse effects only in the New Jerusalem, but not on the new earth—preempting the Universalist assertion that the “making of all things new” proves that the Second Death is to be eliminated.

  43. Jesus must be withheld from returning until the Spirit of Elijah has restored all things prophesied to make ready a kingdom people to receive Him, in which that “restitution of all things” has absolutely nothing to do with universal reconciliation.

  44.   The Old Covenant prophets predict the eventual “worshipful” restoration of surviving mortal remnants of Egypt and Assyria wherein the Egyptians and Assyrians will lick the dust in terror before the Lord, they will be punished by drought if they fail to go up to worship at Jerusalem; and the present Pharaoh(s) will nevertheless be extinguished in hell. They also prophesy that surviving mortal remnants of the Moabites and Ammonites under the allegorical name “Sodom” will be restored from Babylonian captivity together with remnants of Jerusalem and Samaria—all contrary to Universalist belief that these future generational restorations evidence universal reconciliation either among all the living in the future age or with the already damned past generations.

    PART 10

  45. The biblical destiny progression of the damned proceeds from sin to death to hell/ Sheol to the Lake of Fire, being a progression of increasing distance and separation (enmity) from life in God, wherein all apostolic exposition of salvation intercepts this trajectory only at its root point in sin, left otherwise to run open-endedly without exposited closure—thus testifying against universal reconciliation as God’s progressive purpose. Similar to evolution in reverse, Universalism teaches that, given enough time, this negative trajectory will somehow spontaneously cure itself to bring forth life.

  46. Consignment to hell and the Lake of Fire is not just about punishment for specific sins committed in time, but about fittedness of destiny for a given state of being—just as access to heaven is based on one’s declared state of having been “made the righteousness of God in Christ”, and not upon any number of righteous acts performed for so much time. The usual question, “How fair is it to have to ‘serve more time’ in the Lake of Fire than the ‘amount of time’ spent sinning on the earth?” is grounded on ignorance of this. The concept of “time served” for crimes is found under modern Western penal justice, but not under the Mosaic Law at the base of the biblical concept of justice.

  47. The consuming of human flesh (“dust”) by serpentine and wormlike creatures is presented as a non-redemptive action of corruption without distinction in both the terrestrial and netherworld domains from the Genesis 3 universal enmity decree through to hell and the Lake of Fire.

  48. Hell is:

    ·        a place of perishing wherein those descended there “are no more,” “will never be found again”, are terminally “vanished” and “extinguished” so as they “cannot rise” or “come up--again” and can never be “known anymore” either to their household or upon the earth;

    ·        a place of worms, consuming drought and heat without water or habitation, being a smoking furnace, yet also a place of darkness from which those thereto consigned will never see light;

    ·        a place of wrath, terror, torment, agony and destruction (abaddon) under the keepership of one named the “Destroyer,” a non-redemptive personage;

    ·        a place of banishment from the Lord’s Presence, abandonment and forsakenness of those whom God remembers no more wherein its inhabitants are cut off from Him—but not for the righteous;

    ·        a place of wasted nothingness, shame, disgrace and of lament from which no praise emits to God and God does not answer the cry of the wicked for salvation; but they are instead silenced, remaining perished, destroyed, ruined and blotted out from memory in perpetuity.

  49. The Lake of Fire is:

    ·        destruction, wherein annihilation is destruction, and destruction is a conclusive / consummational “end;”

    ·        the last judicial event of the present cosmos and of scripture itself, into which Death and hell are finally cast, fulfilling the outside meaning of the abolition of Death; being an open-ended judicial sentence on which no judicial limitation is put to indicate a termination (as would be required of a judicial decree); nor with further record of any further decree, other record or later tribunal to provide any basis for a rehearing for a commutation of sentence;

    ·        originally prepared for “the devil and his angels” whose identity as “adversary” remains never changed and for whom no help of reconciling atonement was ever made, wherein Lucifer is judicially sentenced to “cease to be” by means of incineration;

    ·        a place of terrifying, furious banishment for the accursed wherein worms feed upon the bodies therein (just as in hell);

    ·        a place for the lawless, cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, the immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars all of whom are considered “adversaries” (enemies) wherein no reconciliation is in view;

    ·        a place which terminally consumes its entrants (likened to bad trees; chaff, tares, branches, thorns and thistles) as unquenchable fire parallel to satan’s incineration to ashes;

    ·        a place of age-enduring torment and extended wrath lasting day and night to the ages of the ages, the smoke of whose unquenchability will for the duration of the new heavens and earth (the second cosmos—which never terminates) be beheld at a distance by the angels, the Lamb and all the worshipping earth.
