The anchor theme for this series is the unique meaning of salvation through the Name of Jesus relative to the end time contest between Christ and satan for the naming rights to mankind.
Within this theme, our late goal has been to discover the name of the abysmal sea beast which specifically competes with the Name of Jesus for human worship and identity. To do this, we’ve had to first delve into the nature of the beast itself.
By the end of Part III, we established that the beast is really a global commercial corporation enforcing maritime trade law on all nations. By this it secures the racketeering rights to all human commerce under a publicly registered / numbered artificial name; with the intent of literally branding its name on every earth inhabitant to mark its ownership—in effect converting earth into one great commercial slave plantation.
The truth is that, today, while many of us happily claim ownership under the name of Jesus, in our every day business dealings, we are being surreptitiously conditioned by lure and veiled threat as are all men toward accepting the inevitable branding of this false corporate name—a branding which, by the time of unveiled mass roll out, we will be virtually unable to refuse practically or legally.
To help us recognize and escape this planned counterfeit sealing in God’s timing, we take a necessary detour in this series to more fully tell the story of the global sea corporation’s development from antiquity.
“Was, Is Not and Is to Come”
In the recent series Speed Under Pressure: Unpacking the Book of Revelation, we discussed the unfolding aspect of the Lamb’s end time scroll beginning at John’s time. The visions unrolled were not of events spanning just a few years at the end of the age, but that would develop over many generations, to be harvested in a final 42 month period at the very end.
Thus John’s revelation was to be relevant to every generation unto the Lord’s coming. This was therefore to be true of the sea beast—a creature finding existence even before John’s time, but which would proceed forward thereafter to grow in influence on all the generations after him:
“The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss and go to destruction...” 17:8.
Note the amazing negative parallel of this beast’s “anti-existence” to that of the Lord’s living existence as proclaimed around His throne:
And the four living creatures… do not cease to say, "Holy, Holy, Holy is The Lord God, The Almighty, Who Was and Who IS and Who IS To Come." 4:8
This contrast of existential descriptions is key to understanding what the angel is telling John about the beast. He is saying that, opposite the Life of the Forever Living One, the beast “is not.” That is, it is not a living being. Rather, as we established before, the beast is a non-living artificial entity.
The angel would have John know that this massive non living thing has maintained an ancient netherworld existence (“was”) in Hades along with the Destroyer and the Dragon, yet its deathly presence is shortly to be made fully known on earth’s surface (“is about to come up”).
A second lesser but valuable meaning within the surface time continuum is also discernible in the angel’s words. Here, the angel is telling John that the sea beast has already had an incipient presence on earth prior to his time (“was”), yet in John’s present time “is not” manifest as a universal power, possibly being quelled somehow from its prior appearance, yet is imminently to begin appearing (“about to come”) with full force up onto the world stage.
The Seven Heads
In approaching the history of the sea beast, we must take note of its heads, seven in all, as John reported:
17:3 … And I saw … a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
The angel in turn explained the heads to John:17:9 Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are … 10 … seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while.
The identifying of these beast heads as “kings” together in a sequence has rightly led prophecy students to understand the angel is describing a sequence of world empires, consistent with the “angel talk” found in Daniel. There, the angel mentioned two successive “princes” with which he was wrestling, the “Prince of Persia” and then the “Prince of Greece” (Dan. 10:20).
By John’s time, those two “princes” (or “kings” or “heads” as they may be interchangeably called) had indeed fallen. But now, according to the angel, another “one is.” The empire head in force in John’s time was, as we know, the “Prince of Rome.” This will shortly prove majorly important to the story line. But for the moment, we want to have a “wise mind” about two things:
Remember firstly, that while this sixth head “is” in John’s day, the over arching beast comprising all these heads “is not.” Remember that? “Is not” means no life. This means that no matter which head “is” in manifest force on earth at any time, that head or prince or king is essentially part of a non-living entity. Secondly, the angel is also telling John that the present Roman head John knows is not to be the final world embracing manifestation of this thing.
But what I want to focus on here is the “unreality” of all these nether king heads. They may “be” in manifestation here on the earth, but as belonging to the great nether world sea entity, they “are not.” That is to say, all human kingships are based in the non-reality of artificial legal incorporation—the purpose of which is to assign artificial immortality to a legal office beyond the life of its mortal occupants.
By such incorporation, “life” is thus given to netherworld beings on the earth. In law this is called “the Law of Succession.” Please listen to the words of human law itself:
“The conception of the king as a corporation is the key to many of his paradoxical attributes in constitutional theory—his invisibility, immortality, &c.” 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica
It is as a body corporate that the king is said to be invisible and immortal; 2 Howell, Sta. Trials, 598; 24 id. 246; 2 id. 624; Plowd. C. 213. 217. 234. Practical Treatise on the Law of Corporations…James Grant,Esq. p. 619 (1854)
“[A] Corporation sole is an individual, being a member of a series of individuals, who is invested by a fiction with the … leading attribute of Corporations—Perpetuity ….It is an axiom with us that the King never dies, being a Corporation sole. His capacities are instantly filled by his successor, and the continuity of dominion is not deemed to have been interrupted.”

So when the Bible is talking prophetically about “kings” and “princes” and “heads,” it is not talking about individuals. It is talking about netherworld beings (“principalities” and “powers”) inhabiting artificial legal constructs beyond human generations as a vehicle on earth for expressing their artificial “life.”
The essence and purpose of incorporation is thus to give an artificial body in perpetuity to nonliving netherworld princes, from whose names the names of the lands and empires they rule in turn derive…Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome…..United States!
(Oh? What’s that? You say you did not know the United States was a corporation?? See how little we know of the law:
28 U.S. Code § 3002 - Definitions
As used in this chapter:
(15) “United States” means—
(A) a Federal corporation)
It is necessarily so, for only by taking on artificial legal personality can a king or a government of any kind maintain a suit in a court, as in:
“THE UNITED STATES v. JOHN DOE”
But see behind this how this artificial personality is ultimately the necessary clothing of principalities and powers by which they may speak and act (and blaspheme!) on the earth above as if they were living beings.

So People, wake up! We have to think twice before ever exalting and identifying ourselves by the name of any human nation or empire or government again! It is not a romantic ideal we are exalting in our delusion. When we exalt nations and their names and their flags of ownership, we are breathing our own life in Christ back into principalities and powers clothed in legal constructs for expressing their rule in the earth! And it has to stop if we are going to be sealed in the forehead with the Name of Our Bridegroom, our Father and their City.
We haven’t even gotten to the commercial part of all this yet. But so far, we are just here to understand that, whether by land or by sea, the existence of the artificial legal corporation for the purposes of establishing the earthside presence and power of netherworld beings via governmental entities takes its descent from antiquity—all of which are to be finally subsumed in the one global commercial corporation that will take on the Lamb.

As we proceed on with our story, start understanding the ramifications of whose name you allow yourself to pray into and prophesy into and be identified by in the earth……
