PROJECTING NATIONAL ISRAEL’S DESTINY
INTO THE AGE OF RESTORATION, CONT.
Authority, Heirship and the
Quest for Transnational Glorification
- The Indivisibility of Rights
Because
Restoration Age authority is derived from spiritual life, and Restoration Age
heirship is established by descent from the same life, it means that under
Restoration Law, the right to govern and the right of land possession are held
together and indivisible; and that the conditions defining one right
necessarily define the other.
Together
this means all government is vested in the heirs and only in heirs. In the
Restoration, government is a “family affair,” not an electoral or dictatorial
one. One must be part of the “ruling dynasty” of Yeshua to carry executive
authority as well as right of land possession. Unless he is an actualized heir
through spiritual descent, a man cannot be vested with actual authority as a
lawgiver (governor).
It
also means that government is apportioned at the same three levels as heirship.
Unbelievers, since they are not heirs but slaves to sin, will also have no
authority in the earth. Reborn nationals will as “minors” have limited
stewardship authority under oversight of the glorified transnationals. And the
glorified transnationals will have full Homologos governmental authority in the
earth in consort with Yeshua, their eldest manifest brother (Rev. 3:21; Heb. 2:11-12).
- The Purpose of Earth Life
The
nature of the Law of Life also defines life’s purpose for all Restoration Age
peoples. The purpose of life will not be to have careers, babies and
“ministries.” It will be to become transformed out from death under unbelief
into national spirit rebirth; and then to transnational glorification free from
physical death. The transition to glory without seeing physical death will
become an increasingly common experience in the Regeneration. All dynamics of existence, including those
of inter-personal and international friction will serve to promote it.
- Friction and Discipleship in the Restoration
Because
of sinful unbelief, friction will remain in the earth between sinners and
believers—right up to the international level. But the thrust of this friction
will be to lead unbelieving peoples to spiritual rebirth into the Kingdom
Family. Friction will also exist inside
the Kingdom among mortal “siblings.”
But
all such friction will serve to exercise the believing mortals in the Law of
Agape; and it will occur under the watchful tutoring eye of Yeshua and the
glorified ones, beneficently steered to promote glorified Life in the whole
family.
Yes,
the discipleship principles in force today for believers will remain in force
for believing nationals in the age to come. At that time, discipleship will
work to mature reborn mortal clans and nations toward the goal of transnational
glorification with fully placed membership in Eternal Israel. While the cruel
effects and ravages associated with today’s discipleship under satan’s
opposition will be eliminated, men
and nations will nevertheless still be learning to “die to” their
remaining adamic vestiges en route to glory. The purpose of the cross
will still be paramount.
- The Status of the Immortals, the Overcoming of
Death and the Legal Age of Maturity
In
that day, Eternal Israel’s immortals will be held in utmost esteem (or dread)
throughout the world, though they will be the most humble of all peoples. As
intimated above, their primary role in the earth will be to help shepherd the
mortal believing peoples toward their own transition under Agape, mediating
disputes among men, converting the frictions to profitable instruction in the
disciplines necessary to pass “seamlessly” from mortality to immortality. They
will be the earth’s true peacemakers.
Every
mortal believer will aspire to become “like
the immortals” without seeing death—to become recognized as a fully mature
“son of the Kingdom,” and awarded all the rights, privileges and status of an
adult heir and “liberator” of the earth. For under Restoration Law, the
transition to glory replaces physical age as the benchmark for demarcating
the legal age of maturity. All laws that assign rights and statuses by
virtue of adult maturity will conform to this reality worldwide.
To
be clear, this hope of graduating into the glorified realm without seeing death
does not mean every believer will successfully overcome death, any more than
that every unbelieving man and nation will convert under Yeshua’s reign. Death
will still be a Restoration reality and its overcoming is not automatically
assured: "—For
the youth will die at the age of one hundred and the one who does not reach the
age of one hundred will be {thought} accursed.” (Isa. 65:20.)
Still,
the precedent set by the Great Harvest Translation and the First Resurrection
will radically alter mortal mankind’s understanding of death’s invincibility
and the purpose of life. It will establish a new realizable hope wherein
passage through a cemetery is no longer accepted as one’s inevitable
destiny! This hope will be stimulated by promises associated with the rite
of passage to immortality that are without par!—promises that will galvanize
the reborn peoples to earnestly seek completed conformity to Yeshua’s image
through the discipleship requirements.
In
that day every believing youth will say, “When
I grow up, I want to be one of the Immortals! I want to be Like Yeshua—a
Homologos. I want to pass the New Bar Mitzvah to hold a full Kingdom
governorship! ” It’s hard to imagine the “pomp and circumstance” that will
accompany the graduation ceremony to glorified transnationality in the next
age.

With this brief but intense
summary of the Restoration Age legal system in hand, we have all we need to
properly understand the role of reborn Israel in the Regeneration. The
following points outline what will entail national Israel’s regenerative roles
and distinctives of status in light of the above truths.
